Trophy Recipients

Dance World awards trophies to students with 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 & 15 years of continuous dance education. (The continuous years do not have to be in a single subject area.) A list of students receiving trophies each year will be posted at Dance World in April. If this is the year you are to receive a trophy, please be sure to check the list and verify that our records are correct. If your name does not appear on the list, and you think it should, please notify us immediately!

All trophies are presented to each dancer, individually, on stage at Dance World’s recital. Dance World prohibits the presentation of flowers or other gifts to trophy recipients during the trophy presentation. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it is critical to maintain the flow of the presentation which takes place after each of the matinee and evening performances. Once the presentation is concluded, however, you are invited to come on stage to take pictures, greet your dancer(s) and present them with any flowers or other gifts.

If you wish for your dancer to receive flowers onstage before the trophy presentation, please be sure to check out the J.T.ettes annual Flower Sale fundraiser held at Dance World prior to the recital. This is a major fundraiser for our J.T.ettes, and helps to offset competition fees and other expenses for our dance company. The flowers will be handed out as each dancer’s name is announced for their trophy on stage.
